It's here! The Wölffer 2011 Rosé - "Summer in a Bottle"
Order quickly as we always sell out by late summer or early fall. Winemaker’s Notes: Light rose in color with a shiny copper hue. The floral aroma hints of a freshly cut wildflower field. The mouth is filled with fresh berries and a note of wild strawberries. There is a beautiful lightness about this Rose, with great balance between the ripe fruit and acidity and the fine tannins, as well as a natural and refreshing CO2 mousse retained from the cold, slow fermentation process. This dry wine offers an elegant and refreshing finish with great minerality. This is a classic Wolffer Rose. Serving Suggestions: Serve chilled. This lively wine is so versatile that it will match well with practically any food. It pairs especially well with hors d’oeuvres such as smoked salmon, lobster, shrimp, marinated meat, and soft cheeses. It is the perfect match for your Thanksgiving Turkey.
